MAMACITA'S KERRVILLE LOCATION
215 Junction Hwy
830-895-2441 |
Located in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country (which recently was voted the number 2 vacation destination in the state) the newest Mamacita’s is also home to our fine dining restaurant the Republique. This location also has the distinction of being the newest, as well as the first, in the growing chain of Mamacita’s restaurants. Having outgrown their original location, the owners made the decision to purchase the shopping center behind the original building and initiate an ambitious building project. The new building is a showpiece of exotic architecture fusing elements of the Mexican, Texan and Middle Eastern cultures.
The gold dome atop the foyer covers a huge wrought-iron chandelier draped with crystal. Inside there is a replica of the Alamo, two-thirds scale. The original murals by Lee and Matt Casbeer together with the indoor replica of a small Mexican village creates a visual extravaganza that will transport the visitor to far-away places.
Serving Starbuck’s coffee and Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, and with such amenities as an outdoor patio, next to the manmade river, large screen TV’s in the bar, and a fully animated figure of Davy Crockett, patrons are entertained, while enjoying our famous Tex Mex and American fair. Also, for an extra special treat, for your next birthday, “Davy” will play Happy Birthday on his fiddle.
This location is also home to the corporate offices, where Hagi and his team oversee the other locations and develop strategies for future expansion.
